Getting to Grips with Canva
What a year it has been so far and we have survived the journey. I know how tough it has been for some of my friends who work in healthcare as Doctors and Nurses – it has been horrendous for them and still is. If you know anyone that does work for the NHS, then I am sure, like me, you have been following the rules and kept to the bubble of six, no mixing up of multiple households, etc. I don’t care if anyone thinks I am being a goody-two-shoes by sticking to rules, I’d rather be that than the alternative who have possibly been contributing to the fact we are in our second lockdown.
I don’t think that I am massively affected by it this time, unlike the last time. I have my customer base, I am working on the things I pivoted to deliver from the last lockdown. I do really feel for those that have to close up shop again and are still not fully recovered from the last lockdown. How can we help those?
Last week I opened the doors to my new Facebook Group: Passion for Training (click this link to join). I deliver bite-size training each day which drops into the group around 8am. They are videos or posts that give less than 5-minutes of video hints and tips for systems and software that I have used in my business. If you are interested in joining, you would be most welcome, and feel free to invite your friends over too!
When we hit the last lockdown, which seemed to last for such a long long time, I turned to study. I signed up for courses and among other things I learned how to deliver an 8-week course. We are now in week 5 of that course – ‘Mastering Canva Like a BOSS!’ and I am really enjoying the engagement from the participants and particularly love how they are sharing their creations and engaging with each other.
I love everything that Canva puts out and have decided to run a ‘Getting to Grips with Canva’ 5-day course, week commencing 23rd November. If you are interested in joining in, here is the link http://bit.ly/Canva5day The course will cost £45 and you will have full access to the content until 24th December. That is the 5-days of learning and the 5-days of Q&A too, plus any resources.
Originally I was looking at this course and aiming it specifically at Virtual Assistants as I knew that they would love to learn more of the tricks that Canva can offer. But after hearing about the new lockdown imposed, I think this course would help so many more people and therefore it is now open to anyone who wants to get more creative with Canva.
In the meantime, I hope you have a safe and secure lockdown and you are able to keep business flowing. See you on the other side.
